A Rockin’ Rhythm & Blues band from the West Coast of California. The sound is influenced from 1940s through early ‘60s artists such as Joe Turner, Chuck Berry, Jackie Wilson & Ritchie Valens just to name a few. The band plays a heavy sway of original songs that are styled after early Roots Rockin’ Rhythm & Blues. The band is always dressed to impress and executes a Rockin’ Rhythm & Style Show during each and every performance.
The band brings a unique sound from a talented group of musicians and vocalists that come from a wide range of inspirations such as Gospel, Rockabilly, Rock n Roll, Swing and Rhythm & Blues. Drive-In Romeos has shared the stage with Grammy Award winning artists such as Los Lobos, The Mavericks and have also performed at many California music festivals including Live Oak Music Festival and California Whiskey Fest.
The music has been enjoyed by a wide range of audiences from young and old and everything in between. The band features Don Gonzales Jr. - Lead Vocals/Guitar/Arranger/Writer, Mike Gonzales - Drums/Backup Vocals, Mark Garza – Electric & Upright Bass, Ray Williams – Tenor Saxophone, Isaiah Estrada – Baritone Saxophone, Sandra Sapone – Vocalist, Amando Perez - Vocals/Drums, Lee Orlick – Guitar.
